Step 1: Talk it through.
Book an hour with us, in the studio or over video. Bring photos, a Pinterest board, or nothing at all. We ask about the person wearing it, how they use their hands, what they already wear. That helps us build the perfect ring.
Step 2: See it before it exists.
We model your ring in CAD and send you renders from every angle. Want the band 0.2 mm thinner or the setting a touch lower? We adjust and re-render. Nothing gets cast until you sign off.
Step 3: Choose the stone.
We work only with the highest quality diamonds and stones, sourced through direct trade relationships built over decades and selected specifically for each piece.
Step 4: We build it.
Casting, setting, and finishing happen at our Vancouver bench and with trusted goldsmiths.
Step 5: Take it home.
Most custom rings are ready in 4-8 weeks. Rush timelines are sometimes possible. Ask us.

Custom engagement rings at Atelier in Vancouver start around $2,500 CAD. The final price depends on three factors: the stone, the metal, and the design complexity.
Stone selection may have the biggest impact on price. A 1ct lab-grown diamond and a 1ct natural diamond of the same cut and clarity can differ significantly in cost. We'll walk you through the options at every price point and tell you what's achievable within your budget.
Metal choice: 10k, 14k, 18k gold in white, yellow, or rose, or platinum, affects both the look and the cost. We'll recommend the right choice based on the design and how you wear jewelry.
Design complexity matters too. A clean solitaire costs less to produce than a pavé band with a halo. Neither is better; it depends on what you want.
We ask for a design deposit to begin the process. This is applied against the final cost of the piece.
